About Focus on Ability |

Focus on Ability is a web-and CD-based education and training program. The program has three components:
Recommended BrowsersThis web site is best experienced with the latest versions of Microsoft Internet Explorer, Netscape Navigator, or Mozilla. In order to fully experience the Focus on Ability site, please upgrade to the latest version of one of these browsers. You will also need to have version 6 or above of the Macromedia Flash Player installed. You may download the Flash Player at the Macromedia website. Training with the CD-ROMTraining is best experienced with the CD-ROM, which you can order here. You will need the following minimum system requirements: Windows NT and newer (2000, XP)400 MHz Pentium 2 128MB of RAM 8X CD-ROM Sound card Internet Explorer version 5+ Macromedia Flash Player 6 DSL/ISDN Internet access (minimum recommended) Dial-up 56K Internet access (absolute minimum) To start: Insert the CD-ROM into a Windows-based PC and within seconds the program will start automatically. If the program does not start, double click the Focus on Ability icon found inside "My Computer." Or, double-click the file labeled 'start.hta' located on the CD. Training without the CD-ROMTo experience the training modules without the CD-ROM, you will need the following minimum system requirements: 400 MHz Pentium 2128MB of RAM Sound card Broadband Internet Connection Access for Persons with DisabilitiesThis web site and training program are fully compliant with Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act.
