Program Description:
Functional Industries, Inc. is a private nonprofit, community rehabilitation service provider that provides vocational, employment, career planning and personal development services for individuals with disabilities, mental health issues and other challenges. Functional Industries was established in 1973, and has extensive experience in serving individuals with a wide range of service and support needs. Functional Industries assists people in achieving self-sufficiency and satisfaction through meaningful employment, career planning and community participation.
Functional Industries provides a wide range of community-based and center-based employment and personal development services to help people obtain their personal and career goals. We believe that everyone should have the individualized planning, job placement and job coaching support they need for successful employment, and complete participation in their communities.
A key to the success and quality of our support is through the use of an individualized career planning process and assessment tool. This planning system assists individuals in discovering their strengths, gifts and desires and career aspirations. The planning process assists people receiving services in developing a career plan that is based on the dreams, desires and strengths of each individual.
Functional Industries provides vocational, employment and personal development services that are based on creative and flexible supports. Functional Industries offers an extensive menu of services, including Employee Development Training Courses, and a broad range of employment opportunities for individuals. We are committed to providing services that are innovative and individualized and produce positive outcomes for our customers.
